DEADLANDS are a New York band infusing fresh and unexpected energy into traditional post-hardcore. Founding member and frontwoman Kasey Karlsen is used to laying her cards face upon the table, as she has been writing about her toxic relationships, friendships, hardships, andcurrent events–basically all topics that are near and dear to her heart—since she was in highschool. She is also a social media star, drawing over a million followers across platforms, thanksto her compelling content. CJ Arey, professionally known as“NO SHADE,”creates melodies forthe guitar and bass while simultaneously inputting his own flare of trap and cinematicreferences into the production of the music. 

 

RENESANS BIOGRAPHYApril 2024Renesans (pronounced “renaissance”) is a four-piece metalcore band formed by Extreme VocalInstitute owner and vocal coach David Benites. Their debut EP “Born from the End” releasedMarch 29, 2023 and includes features from Ricky Hoover of Ov Sulfur, DaveStephens of WeCame As Romans and Asher Thomas from Nailed Shut appears on the “secret” seventh track.The EP has gained traction rapidly, passing half a million streams within the first month ofrelease and their single “Witch Hunt” has been in rotation on Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal.Renesans describe their music as “brutal metalcore”.
